What is Reiki?
Reiki is a wellness therapy that promotes stress reduction and relaxation through hands-on gentle touch. It creates opportunities for healing within a person's body, mind, and spirit by aligning the individual with the frequency of unconditional love.
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is made of two Japanese characters - Rei which is taught in the West to mean "universal" and Ki which is taught as meaning "life force". Together the characters invoke the idea that there is a universal life force that flows through all things. A Reiki session is administered by an attuned Practitioner/or Master Teacher and lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes.

Interesting things happen when we allow ourselves to come in contact with the awareness of energy and our connection to existence as more than just a physical body.

I find Reiki to be a potent and accessible gateway that can bring clients into a direct relationship with their life force energy, leaving them feeling refreshed and better able to manage the ebb and flow of being a human.
Reiki's loving approach to various vibrations is an excellent jumping-off point for those wanting to understand their place in this world of form and reconnect to the true essence.
